When It Rains It Pours
As I mentioned before, I’m now working in an infant and toddler classroom. Last week was my first week, and although it’s not exactly what I want to be doing I am really enjoying it. There are 4 children with special needs in the classroom, and I do get a chance to work with them.
My plan was to move back to Point by the end of March, but that may change. When I got done with work on Friday there was a message on my phone from the center in Madison I interviewed for way back in Janurary. It was the director offering me a position. I claaed her back this morning for more details.
The job in Madison pays about 2 dollars more an hour. Full-time counts as 30 hours a week, which also qualifies for benifits. The director can gaurantee me 30 hours a week, possibly more depending on the staffing needs, which depends on the the number of kids at the center. To start with, I won’t have my own classroom, I’ll be a floating teacher. So, whatever classroom needs me is where I’ll go. This is due in part to how fast the center is growing. However, because of this growth it is very likely I will end up as a co-teacher in one classroom, and with closer to 40 hours a week than 30. . .
I’m not sure what to do. I think moving to Madison would be a good thing for me. I think I’d really like it there. But, I do have this job here, that I really like. . . Any thoughts?

I fully endorse a move to Madtown. It seems to be a good place for us hopeless drifters to hunker down for a spell. Ye have friends here sai, and there are numerous sushi restaurants for us to spirit you off to. More money, friends, sushi… what more could you ask for?
