Fun, Fun, Fun

Since my birthday was on the 9th, I decided to celebrate with some of my friends this past weekend.

On Friday Manda, Dale, Joyce, Andy and myself went and saw The Incredibles. And it was, well, incredible. :) After the movie we went back to my place and Manda, Joyce and I made fondue. While Andy and Dale sat in the living room chatting. It was a very 1950’s moment. The fondue was very yummy. After we were done we all visited for a while before playing a few hands of Apples to Apples. It was a very fun evening, that lasted until 5 in the morning, when we all crashed.

Saturday I got to sleep in. It was wonderful, even though I did wake up at 8 and then again at 10. I didn’t actually get out of bed until around noon:30. And since I’ve been getting up between 7 and 7:30 the last few weeks being able to sleep that long, even with the interruptions, was great. Manda, Andy and I lounged around the apartment for most of the day. We went out and ate and did some shopping late in the afternoon. When we got back Manda left to go back home, and Andy and I headed up to his place. We stopped at Kolhs to see if I could find a winter coat. They had the style I want, but not in the color I want. I’ll just have to go back and look again later. Andy and I spent the rest of the evening just hanging out.

I got to sleep in again on Sunday. :) But when I woke up I realized that I had gotten a cold. I’m hoping that it won’t turn into anything bad. I’m too busy with school to be sick. Anyway, Andy and I headed to Clintonville to see the high school production of Cinderella. Our friend Shanah’s younger sister Jasmine was in it. The play was wonderful. And Shanah, Mark and Hannah came up from Milwaukee, so we got to visit with them for a bit. After the play we headed to Andy’s mom’s house for homemade lasanga and the Packer game. The lasanga was quite yummy. And the Packers won. Yay!

Andy and I got back to Point around 10. He came up and hung out with Joyce and I for a bit before finishing his drive to Wausau. And I fell asleep around midnight.

Al and all it was a wonderfully relaxing weekend. :)
