Summer School
Today was my first day teaching summer school. I had four kids show up that were not on my class list, and 6 kids that were on my list didn’t show up. Of the 6 kids that weren’t here today, I’ve been told that 3 will be gone for the first week of class, and 2 may or may not show up at all.
When the principal stopped in I was in the middle of story time. So she chatted with my aide. And left a message for me to call her. When I called she said she was impressed at how organized I was, and how well behaved the kids were. :) And I felt very unprepared today too. . . But I took the compliment.
And now, because it’s after 10pm and I have to get up at 6am, I have to bbe lame and go to bed.
