Realizations

I realized 2 important things this week:

1) I really enjoy being alone. I spent a good part of the weekend alone in my apartment. It was lovley. The apartment was so quiet and peaceful. My weeks are filled with noise, mostly the noise of a classroom full of 3 to 5 year-olds. I know that I would really enjoy living by myself.

2) As much as I love my roommate son, the next time I will live with a child will be when I have kids of my own. There isn’t any one thing that has made me decide this, I just know it to be true.

I think that’s really it. I should be doing home work. I haven’t finished my weekly journal or log from last week for my student teaching. But I’m just not motivated to do it at the moment. It’s about half way finished, maybe a bit more, so I’ll just finish it quick tomorrow and send it off to me university supervisor then. I could also be working on my portfolio now that I have Front Page on my laptop. But again not that motiviated. I will however have to work on it this week. I have 2 job interviews coming up and they will most likely want to see some sort of portfolio, it would be nice for me to have something to show them. I’ll just have to buckle down this week and get stuff done.
